In the heart of the Sèvre-et-Maine region, Château de la Morinière quietly produces some of the area’s most dependable, terroir-driven Muscadet. Their Vieilles Vignes bottling comes from old Melon de Bourgogne vines rooted in gneiss and granite soils, fermented naturally and aged sur lie to build texture without weight.

The 2023 vintage is razor-sharp: citrus zest, green apple, and sea spray on the nose, with a taut, saline palate that finishes clean and brisk. Lees aging adds just enough roundness to give the wine a subtle creaminess beneath its crisp surface.
