Baby Brunello from one of Montalcino's historic estates—certified organic since 2018, with roots back to 1672 when a bishop built the palazzo. The name Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona connects to Pope Pius II's family through a 1921 marriage. This Rosso comes from the prized "Fonte" vineyard, 1.4 hectares planted in 2003 on marly soils at 190-220 meters. Pure Sangiovese aged in large Slovenian oak.

More about Ciacci Piccolomini

The Bianchini family oversees one of Montalcino's finest holdings: 35 hectares anchored by the legendary Pianrosso and Fonte vineyards. His 2019 Brunello is a masterclass in balance—ripe, structured, and mineral, with the kind of depth that demands food and patience. Ciacci Piccolomini sits comfortably among Brunello's elite, a family tradition (dating to 1985) maintained with discipline and respect for the grape.
