Twin brothers Guillaume and Baptiste Frey purchased 12 hectares in Vernou-sur-Brenne during the pandemic, training under Vincent Carême and among natural winemaking neighbors. Their first vintages achieved immediate success, establishing Clos Thierrière as a promising new voice in Vouvray. This zero-dosage Crémant from 100% Chenin showcases 24 months of aging on lees, early-picked for acidity, and no fining or filtration. Traditional method sparkling from organic conversion vineyards creates gastronomic wine shaped by silt and sandy soils' distinctive minerality.

Twin brothers Guillaume and Baptiste Frey taught themselves winemaking during lockdown under the tutelage of Vincent Carême, then moved to Vouvray and bought 12 hectares around Vernou-sur-Brenne. They're now making some of the most elegant Chenin Blanc you'll find. Eliminated herbicides and pesticides, working instead to restore biodiversity and soil vitality. Certified organic in 2024. These wines have the precision of real farming, not just talking about it.
