Outer Limits is exactly what it sounds like: Hardy Wallace pushing his Mourvedre as far as it will go. It's 100% Mourvedre from the same ancient, own-rooted, dry-farmed vines at Enz Vineyard in Lime Kiln Valley (planted 1922, limestone and granite soils), but bottled as the most powerful, concentrated wine Dirty & Rowdy makes, named because it's unlike anything else in the cellar. Even at full throttle the winemaking stays pure: whole clusters, native yeast, neutral vessels, bottled unfined and unfiltered. This is one to cellar or to decant hard if you open it young. Tiny production.
