The Legends is Hardy Wallace's old-vine field blend, leaning on Mourvedre with Carignan drawn from the kind of forgotten, ancient California vineyards Dirty & Rowdy loves to champion. Carignan adds tangy brightness and lift to Mourvedre's savory frame, and the whole thing is made the house way: whole-cluster fermentation, foot crushing, native yeast, neutral-vessel aging, bottled unfined and unfiltered. It's a celebration of old vines that might otherwise have been pulled out, which is exactly the point. Bright, drinkable and best with a slight chill.
