Marsannay village from a rocky lieu-dit, by a respected Chambolle family. Marsannay is the Côte de Nuits' northernmost commune — its village wines have quietly become some of Burgundy's best value as the well-known names get pricier. Domaine Felettig — second generation under Gilbert and Christine Felettig, based in Chambolle — sources Les Crais from a small, very stony plot tended by a grower farming organically for two decades. Pinot Noir, classical winemaking, no makeup. Around 1,800 bottles. Marsannay's signature comes through clearly here: bright red fruit, a stony edge, and the kind of energy that makes it a delight at the table rather than a meditation in the cellar.
