Duroche, Chambertin Clos de Beze Grand Cru, 2013
Duroche, Chambertin Clos de Beze Grand Cru, 2013 is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
Duroche is a rising star in Gevrey, a domaine making serious waves with Grand Cru-quality fruit from vines planted in 1920 on crinoidal limestone and clay soil. The 2013 brings an expressive bouquet of red and black fruit, hints of undergrowth and wet limestone that evolve in the glass. Powerful yet ethereal, the palate is mineral and complex, showing the depth and structure necessary for extended aging. Pinot Noir from one of Burgundy's most prestigious sites, interpreted by a talented producer hitting their stride.
