From the 16-acre dry-farmed Trout Gulch vineyard established in 1980, planted to Mt Eden Pinot Noir, this wine sits at 750 feet on sandy loam soils less than four miles from Monterey Bay. Fermented 100% whole cluster in open-top stainless steel and aged in neutral French oak, the result is light and translucent with explosive spiced berries and redwood notes, silky and vibrant on the palate.
