Tiago Sampaio came home to the high Douro to make wines nobody else there was making. Curtido Branco 'Uivo' is a skin-contact white made from 100% Moscatel Galego (Muscat a Petits Grains), fermented wild and left to soak with the skins for that orange-wine grip and texture. Grown at 500-700 meters on schist and granite, it keeps a savory, mineral edge even with the maceration. This is a fresh, energetic bottle built for the table rather than for sniffing in a quiet corner. Drink it now while it's at its most vibrant.
