Paul Girard grew up in the Cote des Blancs and inherited vineyards from both sides of his family — his father in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, his mother in Oger — so he has quite literally been smelling and drinking grand cru Chardonnay his whole life. 'Mon Village' is his ode to home: an all-Chardonnay Blanc de Blancs drawn from Le Mesnil, the taut, saline, mineral heart of the Cote des Blancs. Farmed organically, fermented with native yeasts, and finished Extra Brut so nothing gets in the way of the terroir. This is grower Champagne with real pedigree — clean and precise, but vibrant in a way only great farming delivers. Drink it now, or let a few bottles stretch out and deepen.
