From one of Jerez’s most historic producers, González Byass, La Copa Extra Seco is a vermouth that puts off dry Sherry back at the heart of the category. Built on a base of Fino Sherry, it’s aromatized with a blend of traditional botanicals—wormwood, clove, nutmeg, and citrus peel—creating a profile that’s crisp, saline, and deeply refreshing.
Unlike the richer red vermouths often used in Negronis or Manhattans, La Copa Extra Seco is bright and bitter in the best way: floral, citrusy, and lightly herbal, with the unmistakable savory tang of its Fino base. There's not. much sweetness here—this is vermouth for dry martinis, bone-dry spritzes, or simply sipping on the rocks with a twist of lemon.
It’s also a secret weapon at the table: think oysters, anchovies, marcona almonds, or anything salty, briny, or umami-rich.
