The Loiserberg is one of Jurtschitsch's highest, breeziest vineyards — a terraced premier cru (Erste Lage) where cool winds rake the slope even on hot summer days. That altitude and airflow are the point: they keep the fruit taut and the wine nervy, giving this dry Grüner a lifted, energetic feel next to the deeper, brawnier Käferberg. Planted on primary rock topped with loess and fermented wild in old oak, it trades power for tension and precision. This is the cru for drinkers who love Grüner's live-wire side. A snapshot of high-elevation Kamptal, honestly priced for what it is.

"The 2023 Grüner Veltliner Loiserberg comes from an elevated, cooler site of mica schist. Some reduction casts a smoky veil over juicy green apple fruit. On the palate, a slightly diffuse yogurt-like texture, resulting from malolactic fermentation, appears, but peppery yeast and yellow stone fruit soon assert themselves with spice and ripeness.
