Planteray made Cut & Dry as a corrective to a category that had largely given up: real Caribbean rum infused with coconut and finished dry rather than syrupy. That single decision changes how it behaves in a glass, because it acts like a spirit in a drink instead of a dessert topping. Use it anywhere you would reach for coconut liqueur and taste the difference immediately: pina colada, coconut daiquiri, rum and pineapple, or a splash into a tiki build that needs texture without sugar. It is also perfectly good over ice with a squeeze of lime, which is not a sentence anyone writes about the other guys.
