Poderi Melini's San Lorenzo sits on the historic border between Chianti and Chianti Classico, on hills overlooking Val d'Elsa. This vineyard has been documented since the 1300s as a suffragan church site—a place of long-established terroir. The soils are rich Sienese tuff studded with marine fossils, which imparts minerality and singular character. The blend of Sangiovese Grosso, Cabernet, and Merlot delivers vibrant, savory red fruit with almonds and spice.
