Traditional Barbaresco from the Montefico cru by Roagna, one of Piedmont's most revered traditionalists, now drinking at maturity. Montefico is a prized Barbaresco-commune site known for giving Nebbiolo a firmer, more structured frame than the more perfumed neighboring crus. Roagna farms old vines without compromise and ages the wine for years in large neutral casks before release, a slow, patient approach that captures terroir with rare transparency. This is a back-vintage bottle from a private collection, showing the dried-flower, tar and earthy depth that mature Roagna Nebbiolo earns over time.
