Roagna's traditional Barolo from the La Pira vineyard in Castiglione Falletto, made by one of Piedmont's most uncompromising growers and now drinking with maturity. Roagna farms old vines naturally and ages its Nebbiolo for years in large neutral casks, releasing the wines only when they're ready to be understood - a patient, terroir-first philosophy that sets the estate apart. This is a back-vintage bottle from a private collection, carrying the dried-rose, tar, truffle and earthy complexity that mature Roagna Barolo is celebrated for. Decant generously and give it air; like all great Roagna, it unfolds slowly and rewards attention.

More about Roagna

Luca Roagna is the fifth generation in a family that's been making wine in Barbaresco since the 1850s. His Dolcetto comes from vines over 45 years old, fermented with real patience and aged in neutral oak. This is the kind of wine that makes you wonder why everyone doesn't make Dolcetto this seriously.
