Westmount's whole premise is authentic Willamette Valley wine at everyday prices, and this 2024 Pinot Gris is the easiest way in. The house farms its own vineyard in the heart of the valley: more than 100 planted acres, LIVE Certified for sustainable farming. The vineyard sits on two soils, glacial silt and alluvial clay. Westmount makes its Pinot Gris from three clones (3, 146 and 152). The house describes the aim as keeping the vineyard's personality intact and letting the grapes become the wine they were meant to be. In 2024 that means blossom and stone-fruit aromas and mouth-watering acidity. It's an honest, bright white you can open on a Tuesday without a second thought.

Tasting Profile

Expect the classic Willamette Valley Pinot Gris profile: ripe pear, white peach and crisp apple with a lift of spring blossom. It's typically medium-bodied and a little rounder than an Italian Pinot Grigio, with bright, refreshing acidity and a dry, clean finish that stays gently fruity.
