A classified-growth Margaux now showing beautifully at a decade of age. Château du Tertre sits on one of the highest points in the appellation, and the 2016 is built around Cabernet Sauvignon with a supporting cast of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. This is a back-vintage bottle from a celebrated Bordeaux year, with that signature Margaux perfume of red fruit, graphite and dried flowers, and tannins that have softened into refinement.
