Known worldwide for her forward-thinking approach and deep respect for the land, Jasmine invites you to discover the unique complexity and elegance of California's Sonoma Coast.

Jasmine Hirsch is the second-generation proprietor at Hirsch Vineyards, and the first member of the family to serve as winemaker. David Hirsch, Jasmine’s father, bought the property in 1978. At the time it was a sheep ranch perched on a coastal ridge, five miles up a dirt road. David planted his first vines in 1980. Hirsch would become a household name for Pinot Noir lovers in the 1990s, being established as a premier vineyard designate by producers like Williams Selyem, Kistler, Littorai, and Failla.

In 2002, David and his wife Marie built a winery at the heart of the ranch. They started producing their own wines in an effort to better understand the vineyard David had been farming for the past 22 years. Jasmine joined the family business in 2008 after stints on the East Coast for her studies and Europe for a career in finance. Jasmine initially worked in sales and customer relations before taking over as general manager of the winery in 2015. She became the winemaker in 2019 and proudly builds on the legacy her father began decades earlier. David passed away in July, just as the 2026 harvest was about to begin. He was 81 and will be remembered as a pioneer in California viticulture.
