Generations of Wine: The Ferrando Story, 10/26/2026

$40.00

We are thrilled to welcome Isabel and Guillemette Ferrando, an exceptional mother-daughter, duo for an exclusive Masterclass. Join us on Monday, October 26 at 6pm on our mezzanine to meet these women who represent the past, present, and future of the prestigious family estate in Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

About Guillemette
Guillemette was born in July 1997 in Carpentras, a town in the heart of Provence. She grew up surrounded by famous local places like Mont Ventoux, the Popes' Palace in Avignon, and the sunny French Riviera. The story of the Ferrando family began in 2003 when her mother, Isabel Ferrando, bought the Saint Préfert estate. Guillemette was only 5 years old when she moved to the vineyards of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

She was a hardworking student and studied the piano for ten years alongside her regular schoolwork. This gave her a strong love for music and art. Later, she studied literature, economics, and management in Paris, London, and Berlin. At age 25, she decided to change her career path to focus on wine. After training in Burgundy and abroad, she returned home in December 2023 to work with her mother at the family estate.

About Isabel
Isabel Ferrando was born in Carpentras, very close to Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Growing up with the southern French lifestyle, she loved family meals, good food, and wine at every table. These shared moments left her with deep memories of the scents and flavors of her childhood.

Even though she did not come from a winemaking family, she first had a very successful career as a senior manager in a major bank. The birth of her only daughter in 1997 changed her priorities. She decided to change her life to become a winemaker. At the time, succeeding in this field as a woman was a real challenge. She went back to school to study winemaking in Carpentras, determined to settle in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Even though this wine region is famous worldwide, the village was a small community. Even though she grew up just 20 kilometers away, Isabel was seen as an outsider.
With her husband's support, she managed to buy the famous "Serres" land. There, the famous winemaker Henri Bonneau became a close friend and a valuable mentor. Instead of just teaching her his own methods, he taught her to trust herself and create her own style. Today, 23 vintages later, Isabel Ferrando has successfully carved out her own path.

Please join us on Monday, October 26 at 6pm on our mezzanine to discover a story of passing down knowledge, courage, and family values. By combining Isabel's experience with Guillemette's fresh perspective, they prove that respecting tradition fits perfectly with the future.

Seating is limited. Tickets for this class are $40 and a $20 store credit will be issued with your purchase.
