Quentin and Marine Vincey are among the new generation of growers redrawing the Cote des Blancs map, and their village-level Oger Grand Cru is the gateway into a tiny, terroir-obsessed lineup. The blend draws on multiple parcels of 50-plus-year-old massal-selection Chardonnay scattered across Oger, all on the iconic chalk under shallow brown clay. Fermentation runs ambient in barrel (15% new) from local oak, with full malo and 36 months on the lees before hand riddling and zero-dosage disgorgement. Practicing biodynamic and zero added sulfur, this is Oger laid bare: ripe, expressive, and saline rather than confected, the chalk humming under the orchard fruit.
