Les Greves is one of Beaune's most renowned Premier Cru sites, and Domaine Rapet farms it from their long-held base in nearby Pernand-Vergelesses. Now organically farmed, the domaine has roots going back to 1765, with Vincent Rapet at the helm. Greves sits mid-slope on limestone and gives generous, fleshy, charming Pinot Noir, often noted as one of the most complete and approachable wines in the Beaune lineup. The 2012 was a small but high-quality Burgundy vintage, and at over a decade old this is drinking in a fine, open window now.
