At 32g of residual sugar, this demi-sec is actually quite restrained on the sweetness. The higher dosage brings out a lovely toasted spice aspect with great white orchard fruit. This is a Champagne that would be absolutely perfect with an apple gallette for dessert.

"The NV Cuvée Le Demi-Sec is laced with pear, spice, pastry and floral accents. Airy and gracious, the Demi-Sec hides its grams of dosage gracefully. This is beautifully done, and absolutely delicious. This release is 89% Chardonnay and 11% Pinot Noir, based on 2018 with reserve wines from 2017, 2016, 2013 and 2009. Dosage is 32 grams per liter."
